2023 Seniors League

Committee.  The Seniors day committee members are - Bob McWade, Charlie Roopnaraine, Russ Solomway, Norm Wilkie, Bob Kopf, Paul Zorzi,

 

League,   The Seniors day league is open to all male members of Saugeen Golf Club who are 55 years or older. It is held every Wednesday , with a shotgun start at 8.30 am. There are 5 divisions A, B, C, D, E. Your handicap will determine which flight you are in. Flights are changed monthly and handicaps change weekly , which will be determined by your previous weeks score. The scheduled start date is May 10th and end on Sept 20th.

 

Weekly Fees. All members playing that week will pay a $ 10.00 fee which include the deuce pot. So please do not pay at the Golf Shop. Exact change will be very much appreciated.

 

Deuce pot. The deuce pot will continue the same way as before. All prizes including deuces, C.T.P and flight winners will be paid out the following week…. all cash prizes. Norm Wilkie will be handing out all prizes.

 

Hole-in-one Insurance. The plan has a pot of $560.00. .

 

Registration. There are two ways to register. First the Auto sign-up format, you are in every week unless you notify the Pro  shop by 6pm the Sunday before that you are not playing. Second,                                                                                                                                                           You can sign-up weekly by letting the Pro shop know that you will be playing that week, by 6.00 pm  the Sunday prior to the next seniors day. The Golf Shop will let you know how to register online for auto sign-up.
