Celebrating our 85th Anniversary

Located near the shores of scenic Lake Huron, only minutes from the resort towns of Southampton and Port Elgin, the Saugeen Golf Club offers you a golf experience steeped in tradition and classic beauty.

Ours is one of the oldest clubs in the area, going back 85 years to when Canada's renowned Stanley Thompson designed our first nine, known as Legacy. Along the way 18 more holes were added, including our Sunrise nine, known for its undulating greens and intriguing water holes, and Sunset nine, with its generous fairways, meticulously groomed as are all of our golfing holes. This 27-hole package makes for wonderful variety for discriminating players. With stately tree-lined fairways and bunkers of sparkling white sand, our golf club has a spacious clubhouse with expansive views which adds to the ambiance and makes our club the perfect setting for golf outings and tournaments, weddings and celebrations and business meetings.
